“My father’s advice had a big influence on my career choice. He encouraged me to have high expectations and dare to be different,” she says. “I eventually chose this path because it was a perfect blend of my school-teaching background, my analytical training, and my desire to help people reach their goals.”

Tamara earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education and an MBA, all from Purdue University. As an experienced guest speaker for corporations and associations, Tamara speaks regionally and nationally on retirement and estate planning.

Before forming her financial advisory practice in 1986, Tamara spent nearly eight years in various analytical positions with the Chevron Corporation. Before her corporate experience, Tamara was a classroom instructor for 10 years in West Lafayette, Indiana; Moraga, California; and Ahwaz, Iran.

Tamara is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and she is licensed to practice in the 16 states where her clients reside.
